Hey Reader,

I’m sitting here with my hot chocolate ☕ (extra marshmallows, obviously), thinking about how lucky I am to have you in my corner this year.

You know what’s wild? I spend most of my days conjuring up the creepiest scenarios I can imagine—haunted libraries, 🦇 swamp monsters with questionable hygiene, ghosts with terrible timing—and yet the most magical part of my job is knowing that somewhere out there, your kids are reading these stories. Maybe under the covers with a flashlight. 🔦 Maybe while the cat 🐈‍⬛ judges them for gasping out loud at a plot twist.

So on this Christmas, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for letting my ghouls and ghosts and wonderfully weird creatures into your life.

Here’s to more monsters, more mayhem, and more adventures together in the year ahead.
